In the heart of Olympic Valley, with unfettered views of the Palisades Tahoe resort - across the meadow and golf course to the iconic KT-22, is "The Lodge." The 4,000 square foot home was witness to the 1960 Olympics and reimagined in 2006, features a two-story great room, soaring hand-built fireplace, reclaimed wood floors, game loft with billiards table, gourmet kitchen with 26-foot bar and five bedrooms (three en-suite). All integrated beautifully to create a unique entertaining space for family and friends.

Large windows, including one that began life as a bull-wheel in an original resort ski-lift, surround the second story to ensure wonderful natural light along with the iconic views. Add sound to your entertaining with a custom designed system with remote controls. The gourmet kitchen features Viking, Dacor, GE Monogram and Fisher Paykel appliances, a four-burner gas cooktop and large side grill, electric wall-ovens with warming drawer, built-in microwave and espresso system, 72-inch side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, drawer-style dishwasher, additional beverage cooler and trash compactor, all housed in warm custom-built alder cabinetry. The bar side of the kitchen creates an intimate gathering place for a family breakfast or a more elaborate celebration that flows into the great room.

The patio outside the great room provides space for warm weather gathering and is completely wired for your outdoor spa. When it's time to retire, two suites are located in the main section of the home, with an additional three bedrooms and two bathrooms in a separate wing.

Home construction features wood-wrapped steel and laminated beams and reclaimed barn wood flooring. The Baylin roof heating system with copper gutters reduces snow maintenance in the winter.

Located convenient to the resort and amenities - keep your car (and your friends cars) parked in the winter and take the shuttle or walk to the resort and Village.
